WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT

Support Our Mission

Your donation can make a real difference for single-parent families and vulnerable children. At BAME Lone Parents Network, we provide essential support through a variety of programs, from Family Essentials and Fresh Start to Childhood Experiences, ensuring that every family has access to necessary resources and joyful opportunities.

Why Your Donation Matters

With the rising cost of living, low-income families often struggle to afford basic items. Your donation helps us provide:

  • Essential Supplies: Access to clothing, toiletries, baby equipment, and household items for families in need.
  • School Essentials: Uniforms, winter coats, school bags, and other supplies, ensuring that children feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
  • Memorable Childhood Experiences: Access to events like theatre trips, museum visits, and outdoor activities to help children create happy memories.

Ways to Donate

  1. Make a Financial Donation
    • Every contribution, big or small, has an immediate impact on our programs. Secure online donations can be made with a single click on the “Donate Now” button.

    • Donate Essential Items
    • We accept donations of clean, good-quality items such as children’s clothing, bedding, toiletries, and non-branded school supplies. Drop-off donations at 204 Palmer House, Wood Green, N22 6UL, or contact us to arrange a collection.

                     Support with Book Donations

  • Help us foster a love of reading by donating new or gently used children’s books for ages 0-16. Book donations can be dropped off in person or sent directly from online retailers to our location.

                         Organize a Community Collection

  • Gather essential items, school supplies, or books from your friends, family, or workplace to support local families. Contact us at bameloneparents@gmail.com for posters and guidance to help organize your collection.

Every Donation Makes a Difference

Your support enables us to bring hope, dignity, and joy to families and children in need. Thank you for helping us build a stronger, more inclusive community. Together, we’re transforming lives.

Support Education Initiatives

The Pad Project partners with local organizations and grassroots NGOs to fund the placement of pad machines, implement washable pad programs, and run menstrual hygiene management workshops in communities around the world. We work with our partners to tailor each program to the specific menstrual health needs of each community.  our goal is to ensure that every menstruator can attend school. Access to pads allows menstruators to feel comfortable and confident in a learning environment, but it is critical to pair menstrual hygiene products with comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) education.
